HBSE on 10.08.2016 issued a notice regarding Adhaar Mandatory/Necessary for all Government Subsidies/scholarships from 2016-17. Now all subsidies and scholarships would be disbursed directly into the beneficiary's bank account number.
The Cabinet Secretariat has directed that all DBT disbursals to be Adhaar-linked by 31st December 2016. Here is the detail.
So it is necessary to all beneficiaries to get their Adhaar if not received and link it to their bank account number so that they can received their benefits directly into the bank account numbers.
